Located in the heart of Sonoma Russian River Valley is one of the top ranked wine regions in California. What makes this area so special you ask? Well let me tell you it’s the Fog, the cool fog in the region creates the perfect climate to create Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Let’s look at Moshin Vineyards a family owned winery that specialize in small production and handcrafted wine by Rick Moshin himself since 1989. When you sip their wine you know you get the bright crisp apple taste high in acidity. Honestly I was amazed by this one you will have hints of toasted Vanilla, and lemon on the nose. Other complementing flavors pulled together to taste that I noticed was apple, pear, pineapple, smoke, and honey as well as a smooth amount of pepper.

I like to pair my Chardonnay’s with pork, rich fishes like salmon or tuna, or poultry.
